The Nature of Our Times: Updates

Here are a few places where The Nature of Our Times has recently been featured:


David Hassler, co-editor of The Nature of Our Times and Executive Director of Wick Poetry Center at Kent State University, will be participating in a session hosted by Dr. Jane Lubchenco and Dr. Heather Tallis during Climate Week NYC, Sept 22, 9am-12pm, at the Doris Duke Treehouse. The session, “Knowledge to Action: Ensuring Impact for the United By Nature Initiative,” will provide an opportunity to showcase platforms, such as The Nature of Our Times, that are designed to more effectively communicate and translate UBNI assessment’s key findings into action.


Kent, Ohio poet R. C. Wilson hosts a celebratory reading to mark the launch of The Nature of Our Times on September 19th, 8pm ET at Last Exit Books.


The Nature of Our Times Book Launch, Reading, Panel, and Exhibit Opening, Thursday, Sept 18, 7pm ET, at Kent State University Ballroom Balcony, and Friday, Sept 19, 3pm ET, at Cleveland Public Library.


Wednesday 27 Aug at 8:00 PM Eastern Time / 5:00 PM Pacific, poets Luisa A. Igloria and Kindra McDonald will be guests on “Dr. Andy’s Poetry and Technology Hour” to discuss The Nature of Our Times. Please tune in!
