We’re excited to co-host the “Frame Your Future” teen financial vision board activity on 5/19 at 5:30pm at the Redwood City Public Library! This is a free event and all materials will be provided, but feel free to bring favorite photos, keepsakes, and a healthy dose of imagination! With some cut-outs and a few smart money tips, we’ll explore big dreams and the financial tools we need to make them happen.

This activity is part of the San Mateo County Commission on the Status of Women’s ongoing efforts to promote financial literacy, in alignment with the objectives set forth in our Fund the Future report (csw.smcgov.org).

Another reason why understanding key financial concepts is vital: The future of wealth is female. Over the next 20 years, women are set to inherit over $86 trillion through both generational and spousal transfers. This means that women will decide how wealth is managed, how resources are distributed, and how financial influence is used to drive meaningful change.

Time to start vision boarding. Tag all the young women you know and encourage them to join us for a fun, informative and creative activity in the Makerspace!
