6/15-6/16/22: Filipino American Book Festival

SIXTH FILIPINO AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL BOOK FESTIVAL
Hiraya/Emergence: Writing Towards the Future

Main Branch, San Francisco Public Library
100 Larkin Street, San Francisco, CA

Join us for a celebration of Filipino/a/x literature.

Readings, book signings, panels, and workshops with over 40 Filipino/a/x writers (including Paloma Press authors Lara Stapleton & Barbara Jane Reyes). All events are free.

The Filbookfest is completely volunteer-run, and is free to the public. It has taken many months to prepare for and coordinate. We at the organizing committee are so thrilled for this year’s line up, which you can find in our website, IG and FB pages:

Would you help us successfully run the festival by telling your students, family & friends, and networks of the opportunities to volunteer for the Filbookfest? They can sign up for 3-hour time slots, and a variety of tasks on this form.

Filipinx events such as the Filbookfest are truly a labor of love and community and we couldn’t have done it without support from you.

Thank you so much,
